Master Bedroom Progress- New Rug

After a long awaited vacation it is time to get back to work on our bedroom! It was hard to come back from vacation but I did have our new bedroom to look forward to. Well part of it. We still don't actually have a bed but we do have a rug!
When I talked about our master bedroom plans here I planned on getting this rug from Target which was $250 for a 7x10. $250 is a lot for me but still less than most rugs out there.

Not long after that I saw an ad for Rugs USA saying that they were having a 70% off sale plus free shipping. Plus no tax since it is online. I have browsed Rugs USA before but always thought it was too expensive. However they have sales all the time so you just need to hold out for the really great ones. I looked at a lot of rugs but ended up with the same style as the Target one.

With the on sale price it was $208 for the 8x10. So a bit cheaper than Target and a bit bigger. And it looked "fluffier". The rug arrived right before we left for vacation and it is definitely much bigger and fluffier than our old $20 Ikea rug! Totally worth the $208 and more. We did not buy a rug pad for it since our carpet is already messed up and we don't have to worry about ruining it any more...So far there doesn't seem to be any problems with it sliding around. It is very heavy so it is hard to even move intentionally!

Now we just need a bed to go with it! Although this carpet is comfy enough to sleep on. Okay well maybe just for a nap- not all night.
